Flying Facts
One of the things we need to be aware of as women is the bone degeneration (or osteoporosis) that tends to start shortly after we stop growing, typically in our 20’s.
Women are encouraged to consume extra calcium and participate in weight-bearing exercises; particularly those that stimulate blood flow to the muscles that innervate the spine and hips. Many women have described the recommended exercises as “unbearably boring” and just can’t seem to get themselves to do them even though they know they “should.”
There is absolutely nothing boring about flying around a pole and it is the best stimulation of blood flow to the spine that I have ever experienced! Those muscles are required to support your entire body weight while playing on the pole.
As a result you start to pull in at the waist, create more muscle definition in your arms, and tone the muscles in your hips, all while strengthening the spine and pelvis, not to mention having a blast while doing it!
